Dental Team
Dr. Chris Binert
Dr. Binert is the director of the Dental Care Team. She received her Dental Degree from U of T in 1983, did her residency at Toronto Western Hospital, and has been teaching Crown & Bridge at the Faculty of Dentistry, U of T since 1994. Dr. Binert is a member of the CDA, ODA, Academy of General Dentistry & Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Marijana Primorac
Dr. Primorac graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, U of T in 2006, and has a B.Sc. from York University (2002). She is a member of the CDA, ODA, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Primorac is a seasoned swimmer, and is a member of the North Toronto Masters Swim Club. She has also recently begun to study the martial art Muay Thai.
Dr. Pricillia Hui
Dr. Hui graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, U of T in 2005. She also has a B.Sc. in Human Biology, Psychology, and Education. Dr. Hui is a member of the CDA, ODA, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Hui has spent time in China, where she taught English as a second language.
Dr. Sonia Taranu Dr. Sonia Taranu brings years of dental experience to our team. After graduating from dentistry in 1995 from the Faculty of Dentistry, Targu Mures, Romania, Dr. Sonia went on to complete her specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2002. Lucky for us, she came to Canada in 2004 and after studying at U of T, successfully acquired here Canadian Dental Licence.
Dr. Sonia enjoys music, but her greatest joy is spending quality time with her baby daughter, Veronica.
Assisting Team
Narine Assistant Level II
Narine studied at George Brown College, and graduated from Career Canada as a Level II Dental Assistant with her NDAEB Diploma. She has been in the dental field since the age of fifteen. Narine is especially good at relating to children. Her current interests include traveling and fine dining.
Mitchuti Assistant Level II
Mitchuti came to Canada in 1991 with Diploma in X-ray Technology from the College of Manila, Philippines. In Canada, Mitchuti studied Health Care Aid at Centennial College, and studied Dental Assisting at the Toronto School of Business and George Brown College. Mitchuti is a certified Level II Dental Assistant with NDAEB diploma.
Leonora Assistant Level II
Leonora came to Canada in 2001 with diplomas in Jurisprudence and Chemistry from the University of Tirana in Albania. She graduated from George Brown College, as a Dental Assistant Level II with her NDAEB Diploma in 2004. Leonora is a member of the ODN & AA.
Jennie Dental Assistant Jennie graduated the Dental Chairside Assistants program in 1999. A cheerful, energetic team player, Jennie has also worked in retail. She is currently a member of the Ontario Dental Nurses & Assistants Association and the Canadian Dental Association. Her current interests include folk dancing and soccer.
Hygiene Team
Ricky Hygienist
Ricky graduated from Tel Aviv University with a BA in history, and then with her degree in hygiene in 1999. She has worked in a hospital setting in the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, and in the Periodontal Care Unit. Ricky has two children, a boy and a girl, and enjoys traveling.
Lynda Hygienist
One of the happiest members of the "Dental Care Team," Lynda studied at George Brown College to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Lynda brings with her 23 years of experience in the dental field, working 5 years as a dental assistant, and then as a dental hygienist.
Joan Hygienist
Joan graduated from Yorkville College as
a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2007, and
is a ODHA member. She enjoys cooking, healthy
eating, traveling, and of course a fresh
cup of Timmy's coffee to start the day.
Milani Hygienist
Milani graduated in 2006 from Medix School as a preventive dental assistant (level II).
While working, she completed her diploma in dental hygiene at the RCC Institute of Technology. Milani is an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association and the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association. Milani enjoys the outdoors, reading novels, and trying out new restaurants in the GTA.
Office Team
Loida Receptionist
A certified Level II Dental Assistant with NDAEB diploma from the University of Western Ontario, Loida is a member of the ODN&AA and CDAA. Loida has extensive Dental Reception and Customer Service background, and a terrific smile that always makes you feel welcome.
Joy Receptionist
Joy came to Canada with a B.Sc. in Chemistry. She then enrolled in Career Canada College, and graduated with her Dental Assistant diploma and Dental Office Procedures diploma in 1991. Joy has worked as a dental assistant for 10 years, and is always very helpful and cheerful.
Sabrina Receptionist
Sabrina is the newest member of our Dental Care Team. She graduated from George Brown College as a Level II Dental Assistant with her NDAEB Diploma in 2001. Sabrina has a flare for interior design, and in her spare time she loves to give design ideas to family and friends. Her other interests include swimming, golfing, and gardening.
Gerry Miller Manager
The best looking and craziest (only) guy in the office, he has a great sense of humor. (This is required if you work with so many women!) Gerry is the only team member who does not shave his legs. Gerry has his BComm from the University of Calgary and his MBA from the University of Toronto.
